I am having a blast doing these circuit workouts on the track and bleachers. I combine running the truck with running bleachers and doing strength exercises. Todays took an hour and I burned 524 calories! My legs were shaking by the end.
Here's what I did:
Run 1 lap on the track
Run 2 sets of bleachers nonstop
20 medicine ball squats (bounce on turf, squat and pick it up)
20 walking lunges with medicine ball twists
10 pushups
Run 2 laps
Run 1 set of bleachers
10 burpee squats
10 wide lung jump squats
20 Russian twists
Run 3 laps
Run 2 sets of bleachers nonstop
20 medicine ball squats
5 walking lunges with twists, 5 med ball squats (repeat 3 times)
10 medicine ball pushups
Run 4 laps
Run 1 set of bleachers
20 walking lunges with twists
10 burpees squats
10 pushups with knee taps
Walk curved part of track
Run straight part and pick up half way
Walk curved part
Run straight part and pick up half way
Do ab rows for 1 minute straight
Walk curved part of track
Run straight part and pick up half way
Walk curved part of track
Run straight part and pick up halfway
Leg lifts with reverse crunch for 1 minute straight
Jog one cool down lap on track
Stretch
As you can, it involved a lot, but to remember what to do, I write it all down the night before and bring it with me and look at each new circuit before starting so I know what to do!
This was really fun and doing this kind of workout keeps thing interesting because you are always doing something different!
