I had a blog post a few days ago about the bad runs I have been having. Well, they have continued, but today, I finally feel like I can see the light and the end of the tunnel. I ran a progressive 3.1 miles with Speckles, but it is the first run in 5 days (YIKES) that I have not had to stop because of wheezing or sluggishness (thanks allergies).
The splits went as follows:
Mile 1- 8:25
Mile 2- 8:10
Mile 3- 7:46
0.10- 6:58

After my run, I did a 25 minute kettle bell workout video. It included:
-Snatches
-Kball swings
-Goblet squats
-Pistol squats
-Chest presses
-Shoulder presses
-Planks with knee tucks
-Burpees with pushups
-Situps
-Crunches
-Tricep work
-Bicep curls
It was a great workout crammed into 25 minutes! You never stop moving and get both cardio and strength conditioning! I highly recommend going on Youtube and finding workout videos because they can be killer!
Last night I made zucchini boat pizzas! They came out great!
This is what I did:
-Cut the zucchini in half vertically
-Baked it on 350 until soft but not too soft
-Scooped out a little bit of the middle so there was a place to put the toppings
-Spread the pizza sauce
-Put the vegetables
-Topped the vegetables with cheese
-Baked until cheese melted!

Tonight I may be trying out a new recipe of sweet potato nachos! If I'm too lazy to do that, I may just make some stuffed sweet potatoes with all the fixins'!
