My family and friends all know that when I am not running, I am usually not a happy person. Runner's high is a thing, folks. However, this time around, I AM happy. Maybe it's because I am still running a little bit, or maybe it's because I have found other forms of exercise that are just as effective and fun for me? Well, regardless of what the reason is, this little break is helping me, and here's how:
1. I look forward to working out: Since I am trying to forms of exercise, I look forward to the new challenges! I love going to spin class, I love lifting weights both heavy and light, I love speed walking with my dog, and I am going to try kickboxing, which I hope I love!
2. I am trying things I normally wouldn't if I was running more: I am trying spin, kickboxing, different ways of lifting and cardio, and taking my road bike out for long rides.
