I had a great week worth of workouts this week! I had some good runs, some bad runs, some fast runs, some slow runs, and some good strength training workouts! I also did a nice long hike with my sisters and did lots of dog walking!
Monday 5/30:
Since it was Memorial Day, the gym didn't open until 7, and if you know me, that is way too late. So, I opted to go running in the POURING rain. I ran 2.5 miles at a good pace to the high school in my town where there is a huge hill. I ran the hill 5 time and then ran home 2.5 miles at a decent pace again. I was soaking wet but I had so much fun. I felt like I was the only one out there and just felt completely badass!
Tuesday 5/31:
Since I didn't lift on Monday, I went to the gym and did some good, heavy lifting (for me). I did tons and tons of squats on the smith machine, lots of leg presses, some upper body, and 20 minutes of HIIT. I was feeling amazing after this workout!
Wednesday 6/1:
I had a nice 7 mile run with Speckles on Wednesday. It was just a nice easy run around town followed by some booty blast strength by Tina at Carrots N Cake.
Thursday 6/2:
This was my best workout of the week! I did 8x400 repeats all under 8 minutes per mile with Speckles. I had a warmup and a cool down and totaled 8 miles. My dog and I were dead but it felt so amazing to conquer this workout!
I also went on a 75 minute hike with my sisters and dog at Noon Hill Reservation in Medfield. It had some serious ups and downs and was super fun!
Friday 6/3:
REST day but still walked a dog for an hour! We covered about 2.5 miles walking.
Saturday 6/4:
Yesterday Speckles and I had did a nice easy 8 miles. She was really tired though and I think it's because of the humidity and here allergies! We still had a nice run!
Sunday 6/5:
Today we did 6 miles with 0.10 fartleks as fast as possible with 0.30 recovery. I did a 10 minute kettle bell workout after. Boy was I sweaty!

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Exciting news>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I made it a week without eating any meat! I actually feel really good and I honestly don't miss it much! I am going to try another week without it and see how it goes! There are so many vegetarian options out there and it's so fun to find new recipes! I plan to make some creamy tomato spinach pasta, sweet potato nachos, and zucchini pizza boats this week! The possibilities are endless!
I look forward to another week of running, lifting, hiking, and walking! Relax and enjoy your Sunday!
