This week has been.....weird, I guess. Since I haven't been running much, I've been doing a bunch of other workouts and stuff. Just trying to keep moving and keep myself NOT thinking about how much I wish I was running!
So, here's how Friday to Friday went!
Friday June 10:
4 mile run at the local park with the pup! Another no-energy, fatigued legs, sucky run. UGH
Saturday June 11:
8 GOOD miles. This was unexpected. Since the past 2 weeks were brutal like the run above^^^, this was a surprise! It was a good surprise and I was so happy!
Sunday June 12:
I guess good runs don't last.... 5 HORRIBLE miles with lots of walking. I just don't get it :(
Monday June 13:
REST DAY- I knew I needed this day off and just shut my alarm off and slept until 6:30.
Tuesday June 14:
30 minutes on the elliptical
Arms
Abs
I just couldn't fathom running this day so I took my workout to the gym for some low resistance exercises.
Wednesday June 15:
TRIED running again but made it to 3 miles and died. I literally couldn't go. It wasn't just mental, it was physical. I felt like a car that ran out of gas and was completely empty. I was so upset I actually starting crying to myself and just walked home. I was just disappointed. AT LEAST my new American shorts looked good!

Thursday June 16:
45 minutes on arc trainer
Abs
I just figured another day off from running was necessary and this workout was great.
Friday June 17 (TODAY):
I went to the gym at 4:30, did a quick circuit, hopped on the arc for 10 minutes and then headed off to a SPIN CLASS! I really stepped out of my comfort zone and I can say I truly loved it! It was a great workout, super fun, and the instructor/owner was a great person. She was so welcoming and taught me everything I needed to know!
I then ate breakfast and then took my dog for a 3 mile walk!
Now, for the rest of the day I don't really have many plans. I am watching my sisters chihuahua because they're going away overnight for a concert. I'll probably take the pups on an adventure because I am a crazy dog lady and do everything with them!
I am still on the fence about running my race Sunday, just listening to my body today and tomorrow and trying to figure out what I'm going to do! I REALLY want to but I also don't want to risk really injuring myself. We'll see!
